Swiss Challenge 2013
The fourth edition of the European Challenge Tour at Golf Sempachersee is taking place from 11 to 14 July 2013. The Swiss Challenge is a top-ranking international golf event featuring prize money to the value of EUR 160,000, the tournament is Central Switzerland's most highly endowed sporting event. Switzerland's best players will be up against Europe's elite at this, Switzerland's largest golf resort featuring two 18-hole championship courses.
150 professionals and six amateurs will be vying for medals under the stroke play scoring system. After two rounds, the top 60 (plus ties) will make the cut and qualify for the third and final rounds. If on completion of the four rounds several players are tied at the top, ranking will be settled by means of a sudden-death playoff until a winner emerges.
The total is EUR 160,000; only those participating in the final round of the Credit Suisse Challenge are eligible to win.
Attendance of the Credit Suisse Challenge is free on all training and tournament days.
